GEMS EDUCATION FEE REDUCTION

Hi, It would be helpful at this pandemic situation.

This email is in regards to fees and other medical fees charges for kg2 students. Since they are studying from home and as a Parent, we need to monitor them or appoint some Guardian or Maid to monitor all the time. We as a parent request School Management to consider 50% of waiver of fees for all kindergarten students. As normally fees are paid for a kg2 ward to attain School and learn in classroom one to one. But now due to current condition for work from home and study from home, we as a Parent feels School charges fees based on many factors such as below mentioned;   Tuition fees / office admin fees/utilities charges/ Admin Staff, peon, janitor charges/building rent/ charges/Government fees/Maintenance charges/Activity fees-  Profit for Management / Shareholders.   All these above factors club together makes School to decide fees for each Grade and they charge accordingly. Now when kids studying from home parents if they pay full 100% fees then we will incur additional cost as follows; increase in Utility bills, one Parent to stay at home (job Loss) or appoint Nanny to monitor. (additional expenses.), buy laptops, new gadgets,and printers.   We parents need to take printouts of Asynchronous session worksheets and it is an extra burden to parents.     Looking forward for kind co-operation from School and GEMS Group, as they are known for Charity Worldwide every here. I have the whole day and everyday teaching both my children the work sent home via e learning. The children face a teacher 2 hours each for 5 days... does this require full teaching fees??? No it doesn’t

Reduce the fees at least 25%,we are not using the school facilities

We request you to discount the tuition fee from February 2020 onwards due to Covid 19.

Infrastructure of the school is not used therefore we need reduction. In fees

I am fine with teachers salary being covered 100%, however I feel there is a strong case to be made in terms of discount due to lower DEWA, cleaning and other facility costs.

We agree that the education process should continue regardless of the global corona virus crises, however, we request that the school fees should not be the same as normal, it should be discounted. Because we purchased additional laptop for kids, purchased a printer, inks and papers, we purchase additional internet capacity grantee no interruption for connection during the class, we do a additional explanations for our kids Moreover, currently we don’t use nor benefit from the various schools facilities (swimming pools, school library, school playground, computer laps, PE, music sessions, entrainment trips, , school parties , class competitions, STEM sessions etc. ). This is a very fair request in this difficult time.

School should reduce the fee by 50% as the students are not using the school premises hence avoiding Electricity, Water, AC, Cleaning and minimal admin tasks. Many parents including me are effected by COVID19 outbreak and also increased expenses on us to buy computers, stationary, internet and expert and consulting in certain cases.
