All our situations are insecure right now, it feels wrong that the school is not even considering any fee reduction when the KDHA is encouraging the schools to make savings and to pass this on to the parents. Nakheel is being quoted in the press to waive rents and other kind concessions; many big gestures are being made in support of everyone suffering in this current situation. GEMS ought to consider doing a similar thing. Other schools can and have been offering voluntary fee reductions in the UK as well as here in the UAE. Any gesture will go a long way. Bless you all in these difficult times.

The letter from Gems reeked of arrogance. At a time when the entire world is In a flux they should have looked out for parents. Have been a proud parent of two children at GWIS for last five years and always stood by the school. Feeling disappointed that at a time like this when most parents are suffering and taking pay cuts gems has not looked out for us.

The letter says it all. The school should look at options to cut costs (get relief on rent for facilities, already utilities and other expenses will be drastically reduced) as well and pass it on to the parents as the parents are facing that with their companies. They still have work full time at a lower salary and its very challenging to teach kids while you ar working. Many have lost their jobs. Teachers are trying really hard. We too feel it’s fair that the 3rd term fee be reduced.

Please reduce the fee by min 75% as online education is in no way substitute for actual school.
Further we paid fee for actual physical school classes not the online education.

This is so injustice. I have 3 kids in Gems wellington DSO .
You guys could have provide at least some relief to the parents . There are number of schools in Dubai who have already announced fee discounts for Term 3. Many non profit schools have reduced their fee. Sorry to say but Gems is a massive business. We are already going through a massive financial crisis since 2018. And now it is getting more effected by the closures caused by the corona lock down.
