GEMS is saving Huge amounts of money on utilities and other actuals which are only paid when used.
All this money is going into pockets of individuals piling up individual wealth.
Whereas the parents in general are Hard Hit Economically, have lost jobs or pay cuts have hit.
KHDA should rise to the situation and enforce this on GEMS to follow other schools and offer Fee Reduction across the board.

Its absolutely unfair for the school to charge us the same fee as usual! There is an immense contribution from the parents to teach their children, whereas the teachers are barely giving an hour of live sessions!

My 3 kids are not using the facility, circulars, utilities. Moreover we are the one who spend more time and efforts to support them. I believe it is fair enough.

When we’re not getting a service we agreed on, clearly we should get a discount, even if we’re billionaires. Else, we should start charging GEMS for our time, electicity, internet and most importantly, our time dedicated towards our children’s learning.

Atleast 40% reduction is needed. we as parents do all the teaching and activities at homr which is more challenging. In addition our work is at risk to lose.
