In these times of uncertainty, discounting the 3rd term fees between 30-50% is the least that a commercially driven school like GEMS (who is charging above market rates) can do to compensate the families (especially for the amount of hours and energy they are putting in daily education of their kids)!!
Many families are impacted due to the current crises(lost jobs/pay cuts/unpaid leaves) and we personally have serious difficulties to lead our lives in the UAE. If we don't get this discount we will be in more trouble and many families may switch schools due to unresponsible behavior of GEMS management.

We have all been hit hard and it’s the time for gems institute to help and give back. It’s a for profit school and even non profit schools on their own have reduced their fees from 10-20%. When their fees even half of gems. It’s definitely not nice that gems at this time isn’t even trying to look at helping the parents, it’s a matter of 1-2 terms.

In a world where the near future is uncertain, you should have lead by example.
When smaller institutes have readily offered fee cuts, Gems is still trying to get every dime out of parents.

Gems Wellington Academy fees should be reduced in line with the fees reductions done by Indian and Horizon group of schools. In difficult times, the school should actually consider a waiver of a minimum of 25%.

I have 3 children in the secondary school. My daughter is in Year 13 and she has not had school since Term 2 ended, her exams have been cancelled and seniors were told that they’re last day of school is April 23.
