GEMS EDUCATION FEE REDUCTION

Please reduce school fees! All our businesses have been shut down and we have no income at the moment.

Very disappointed with the recent letter received from GEMS group explaining your side and failing to understand the situation the parents and families are in. The cost of running online applications Is far less than running a proper physical campus facility, we are not naive. The teaching responsibility has shifted more towards the parents with parents having to invest in new iPads for kids, printer, print materials etc etc. there is no way we agree to pay 100% fee. This is an extremely UNREASONABLE and UNREALISTIC demand from school and we feel being taken for granted. There must be minimum 50% fee discount for the last term across the board. If GEMS claims to be a leader in education GEMS need to also show the way and respect parent loyalty to the GEMS group brand. We are expecting a positive feedback from the group soon so we all can be at comfort during this term.

I have already paid the whole year in advance and with the current situation looking for any discount to be applied for the third term fees that could be added back to my account

Fee reduction

I request GEMS Education to consider the tough times ahead and reduce the school fees to reduce the burden on parents. Since students are not attending schools, the parents are under more pressure to look after kids, do certain arrangements, buy best devices, arrange nannies to take care of kids in case of working parents which directly or indirectly will increase financially burden as well.

This must be done. It's unfair that we are put on unpaid leaves, invest on extra resources like study table, laptop for elearning

I am a parent of 2 children and my husband's job got changed just 3-4months back and would strongly request for the reduction of school fee as it is not wise to take full fees in these situations when our children our not getting complete facilities, knowledge and other activities which they get while attending the school.

We are all affected, please have some mercy

Please help us with the last term fees as we are unable to pay.

I have two kids on the mention school and I paid indeed the whole 4th semester although my conditions is really bad and I didn’t get my salary till now , kindly support me in that matter by doing substantial discount and reimbursed me back The is of kids as following Yousef mohamed 7262 Omr mohamed 7669

To reduce fees

gems are just about the only company who have not reduced the fees. The facilities management company CMC is owned by the same owners so it is an internal discussion to have and fees can easily be reduced. All the schools will be running for lower costs as power and water are not being used. The standard of education is also nowhere near the standard we are paying for, this needs to be stepped up to be anywhere near the standard required. I know it is a difficult situation we are all dealing with however, every business has been badly compromised and this will have a long lasting impact to everyone's business. It seems totally unfair that gems have decided not to take any compromise at all and put a gun to the head of all the families at the schools. Bad show GEMS

Please consider fee reduction, and wave next year enrollment fee due to uncertainty. Also, please refund the paid activities fee cancelled due to covid19.

To resuce the term school fees, as it has been done on all other schools due to COVID-19 and our kids are at studying from home instead of going to school!
