We have two kids studying at GMA. I have been asked to take break and hence not paid from March. This situation is expected to continue until the pandemic is brought under control. Hope the school management open their eyes to reality and show flexibility.

Yes, agree. GEMS management must consider on fee reduction as we are not utilizing complete school facilities and putting extra efforts in distance learning, while balancing our professional life.

Reduction for school fee is a must. Distance learning concept is same as Cyber universities, they are a lot cheaper than other normal universities(and the pupils are all grown ups who can study by themselves). I spend from 8am to 1430pm all my energy for my son to follow the school learning programme, time tables in the computer. Parents are not the teachers, we are making an effort for the kids to understand, complete the tasks. Furthermore distance learning is missing fundamental method of 'teaching', all the parents are the replacement of teachers for the moment and obviously we are not the teachers, its challenging. I do understand the schools needs money to manage however they can't charge same amount of money. In my opinion, +30percent seems to be fair.

I totally agree that due to the current circumstances parents should not pay full tuition fees giving a discount as the least thing a respectable school should do to show support for the parents of the children.

I agree with this letter. The parents input haa multiplied. A big institute like Gems Group can certainly offer a discount relief for the parents. Please note everyone is bound to be affected with this situation sooner or later.

I have 2 children in GIS Year 5 & year 7 . It is completely unfair to charge full fees inspite of only 20% delivery of curriculum . There is no usage of infrastructure , stationary , extra curricular activities , etc. school must support parents by offering school fee reduction

For FS1 the fee should be reduced with 50%. They are only 4 years old! For them the online learning not working. They don’t know even how to handle the iPad, neither read and join meeting.

My employer has already deducted 20% salary and he informed if the situation continues like this deduction can go upto 50% if this continues which seems to be a likely scenario.
I want Gems to waive off the fees till June at least or till the situation becomes normal.

Kindly reduce the fee as it is becoming tough to manage. We have to hire a full time maid n u can easily adjust it excluding the other costs involved
