GEMS EDUCATION FEE REDUCTION

Times are tough and unprecedented . In light of the current scenario I would like the school to offer a discount on term fees. My employer has reduced my salary for the next 3 months and considering the fact that I have to work from home and still continue to teach my child I think it’s gravely unfair the school charges me the full amount for the term. Requesting you to please consider our request.

I expect GEMS to do the right thing by all parents by reducing school fees for all during these challenging times of COVID-19. Parents will not forget how we were treated during this period by GEMS, when considering school choices in the future.

I am ILSA and now I am on a non-paid leave till the end of this school year, my husband has got 50% salary cut.

Based on the current challenges in fiting covid-19, schools should abolish the fees structure for atleast 3 months.

I have three kids in FS1, FS2 and Year 4. It is not fair to pay the whole fee for term 3 given that the kids are doing online learning and most of the effort falls on the parents

I agree that the school fees have to be reduced as all our salaries are significantly reduced. There should be at least 50% reduction in fees.

I think a significant fees reduction is the minimum must do in this pandemic. In the future, once the schools are better prepared, this can be decided and agreed for any such instances.
