Since the elearning started , most of time am apending with my kids. I appreciate the teacher n all the faculties for all d efforts they put. But also they need to consider those facts also we are not using any school facilities too. So i urge the Gems authority to think about people who have financial issue too.

It was financial bad situation from the 2019. Then Covid-19. People like me who lost the job and no other financial support.
Govt. Should support the schools finance

I understand it’s tough time for everyone, while the parents face job loss and salary cut at the same time school have to pay their teachers the salary (they really work hard in e-learnings). I request GEMS management relook into their expenses and reduce it by not cutting their teachers and staff salary... thereby reducing the fees ... COVID is just a situation, but GEMS will be remembered in parents and teachers hearts forever if they reduce the fees and reduce the burden of parents. Thanks

As leading education provider Gems should have stepped forward and been first to offer discount for supporting parents. This is the real time that reveals a hero.s. The current pandemic situation and the learning limitations doesn’t give any right to Gems Being the leading education provider to request full fee payment, this is clearly a change of contract that parents has signed.
Parents are suffering with home education and the parents should receive discount for their efforts and struggles between their office work and acting as a teacher and considering the additional expenses due to home schooling.

The fees we pay covers operating expenses as,running school facility,school activities,water&electrical utilities,meals,security, maintenance,cleaning services.we request the Gems to make an estimate of fees that are not being used & dictate refund of that percentage of the fees

No one in their right mind is going to be willing to pay full price for a service that cannot be provided. Time to trim costs, give up the EBITDA line, and ask both the family as well as CVC Partners to stump up the neccessary equity to allow the business to tide over.
Or you could start with a reasonable 15% discount and let the cash start trickling back in..

Being largest school operator in he UAE. geMs should consider a flat acceptable fees reduction for 3rd term. Anticipating so many things could happen in near future. Its not just a current lockdown.
