Discount on term 3 fee

The school fee is based on sending kids to school, in a classroom with interaction and teacher's help. It is only fair if a serious reduction on the school fee is given considering the hassle parents have to go through while working.

My husband has been put on unpaid leave and I am unemployed for last two years, it’s very difficult for us to pay the full fees. Also we have two kids of which one is a SEN child. We request school to understand the plight if parents and lead by example.

I have 3 children in gems. One is in FS1 Rising 3s. He is not doing anything at home as he won’t sit with the iPad. So he is basically just doing the stuff he does at home on the weekends.

Please reduce the school fee. Due to the current situation , offices are closed , salaries have been cut and our financial situation is absolutely down on the other hand we are home schooling our kids , we are not enjoying a first class school activities. E-learning is much cheaper than the school fee indeed. Please consider all the facts and real market situation and reduce the fee for al parents according. Thanks for your understanding.

It is unreasonable when the income of the majority is impacted because of COVID -19 that school will continue to push for full fees and re-enrollment Fees and make full margins (if not improved) .. I am actually surprised that smaller educational groups than GEMS have taken positive action already.. instead of seeing GEMS leading the way..

It’s not right to charge parents the same when we are providing the on the ground work as well as consumables. Tuition fees include access to school facilities, consumables and materials as well as professionals delivering and observing the learning. Teachers are working their absolute best and hardest but it’s still not the same as our kids being on the ground in the school surrounded by these professionals.

I have 3 children attended the school (2 primary, 1 secondary). Like most families, we have been impacted negatively financially by the current situation. Whilst the e-learning platform is a working it is not the same as attending school - this is especially the case for my FS1 child. As a result the fees we pay for this supplement form of education should be reflected in the fees charged by the school.
