We should definately not pay the full term fee. Conditions have changed world wide and its impossible to pretend otherwise. A fair discount is in order seeing as we parents are doing the majority of the teaching during this phase and we re not using any of the structures or facilities.

We have 3 children in the school. We have paid full school fees upfront for all 3. We would be grateful if the re-enrolment fees is deferred and we get discount for the next academic year.

I believe asking to see parents financials was the incorrect move for GEMS after claiming fee reduction is directed from KHDA. Fees every year have gone up since restriction removed on fee control. To send two children to GEMS JPS is approx 10,000 aed a month

I believe teachers are still working very hard and I really appreciate the efforts that the school is doing to keep studies going on. However, there are lots of facilities that the school is no longer spending money on (because it's not doable with the kids being at home) plus parents are working very hard with teaching kids from home.
