COVID-19 has stuck every family hard, we all understand the economic fallout from now. Keeping these issues in mind. Please work out a solution to comfort not just us in person but every family. Times are such that we stand with each other. Hoping for an early solution to the pandemic.

It is increasingly difficult for us parents to manage our work responsibilities whilst assisting our kids with their distance learning sessions . The younger kids cannot Independently work and have to be monitored throughout the session

If I can offer the following advice on education during this unusual period. Parents may do more harm by trying to attempt to teach Maths, Science or English, via e-learning. (Due to methods we were taught, many years ago). We run the very big risk of doing more longtern harm than any good. For these vital subjects professionals are required.
It is harder to undo bad teaching (by unqualified parents) than to start again.

You are one of the leading education providers in the world yet despite this once in a generation pandemic, you are behaving like a cheap money lender. No other school in Dubai has announced they will means test parents who request financial assistance. This is grossly insensitive and clearly demonstrates how disconnected you are with reality. "All in this together" is a meaningless phrase when you expect parents to further subsidise your so called charitable gestures. Step out of your bubble and reflect on the outpouring of fury that is growing on a daily basis. Rethink your misguided "profits before parents" strategy otherwise I fear GEMS will suffer a significant fall in enrollments by September

I still find it surprising the school did not Lead on this and is waiting for such an initiative. We have all been impacted and I spend a significant amount of time supporting my grade 5 kid with work and homework. If you expect parents’ loyalty, parents expect school leadership. It’s a two way street.
Plz reduce the school fees
Fee reduction is a must
