It is unrealistic to claim 100% of costs are fixed for any organization, as conveyed earlier to parents by school Management. Further, GEMS should be setting high standards, instead of trying to justify status quo. There are much smaller groups such as Al Najah who announced sizable fee discounts already, which should trigger equitable consideration if not thought of yet.

I would request if there can be a discount given in the tuition fees as the situation every where is grim. No one knows what's the situation will be in the coming months and it will be actually difficult to manage house hold things . All schools have given discounts in the tuition fees and thru this petition I would request all Gems school to at least give some rebate also

We believe the school has made enough profit in past allowing it to extend discount to parents in this gravely difficult times.
The school is saving on Dewa bills among other things and we parents have become teachers. The distance learning is not as effective as expected. Most of the time some sort of technical issues are experienced.
We ask you to play an active role in helping the parents and the entire community to return to normality and be less selfish. This way you’re also ensuring a brighter future and long term commitment from parents rather than short-term gains.

I prefer to have an almost 50% reduction for the Term 3 tuition fee as it will run as an Online Distant Learning till June. Also, the platform that has been using is not that good especially to the teachers as they can't assess their students properly especially if it lacks live sessions. Please consider that less live sessions means the Teacher is not doing their job to teach the students instead their parents or guardians. Also, based on the current situation salaries will be affected and some are unable to pay their necessities. Kindly consider the same to give us 50%
