This is with regards to signing the petition started by Parents of GEMS schools. I'm one of those parents who rejects paying the semester fees. We expect GEMS to take action against it.

Since all school reduced their fees by 20-30 % on annual fee rate, we as parents expect the same to take place in GEMS as well.

It is unfair to charge whole fees we as parents have to login for kids and constantly monitor the child what he is doing. It is a full time job of 8 hrs. I am physician I have to go to hospital for work. It is so difficult as I am staying alone . I have 2 kids in gems and then constantly monitor both kids whether he understood what is done in class. If I am not available as morning duty the kid will login independently then deviate to some other site . Small kid in Grade 1 will not sit for long. Then finally parents have to teach the kids. The files uploaded and work sheet are more beneficial as we teach The Whole topic to kids then asses them as parents. The distance learner teacher will teach and leave

Considering the fact that e-learning is not nearly as effective as classroom learning, it's unreasonable for the school to expect us to pay the whole fee.

As much as we appreciate the school efforts in providing our kids education in these difficult times, on the other hand we as parents who been very loyal to GEMS schools should be heard in these times, so I fully agree that we shouldn’t be charged full fees for the 3rd term, and that will demonstrate to us how this respectful educational institution really care about the community not the financial benefits.

Yes I agree with other parents , that the school school should reduce the tuition fees because they are not using any of the school premises , utilities and facilities.
