I have been made redundant. I would like my child to continue his education over his senior years in the same school. It would significantly help if there’s any reconsideration on the final term fees.

Please reduce school fees as it is unfair to pay full fees while it is mainly dependent on parents and home technology and we are not using school facilities

Fees must be reduced and schools should pay full salaries to their staff and not lay off any staff. The schools should chip in from their Profits.

Unhappy. Frustrated. Absolutely disappointed in KHDA's handling of the dispute on hand with regards to school fees in the current scenario brought on by the Coronavirus lockdown vs. delivery of services despite being the "authority" on this matter. Please give us value for our hard-earned money that we have been forever coughing up for years and years without asking any questions. Distance education/remote learning in ANY part of the world is SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER than what you are demanding we pay. Just do a search online for yourselves. We are paying for REGULAR classes, and this is what we carefully researched and selected your school for, not remote learning. If the circumstances dictate that the school cannot provide the same, then so be it - adjust and reduce the fees accordingly. And inspite of this obvious circumstance that we have all been thrown into together, you want us to shoulder the burden of full fees by ourselves as if nothing has changed? Why should parents be the only ones to feel the pressure of reduced salaries and now in increasing cases; loss of jobs? Please treat us fairly, or if you cannot, then shut down all schools including this experimental remote learning at least temporarily until the situation stabilizes. I don't think that is asking for too much considering how frequently we have been badgered and harassed by the school even in regular times to "Please pay your child's fees on time or his/her test results will be blocked" or "Hall ticket will not be issued". Sounds familiar I hope.

We understand that you are continuing to pay teachers salary but other companies have cut down salaries from 20 - 30 % coz staff is working from home and also some parent have lost their job or sitting home without a pay, hence its difficult in this situation for us to pay the school fees. Also the school currently doesn't have any maintenance cost,DEWA, facilities used
so all this expense have reduced for the school but as parents our expenses haven't reduced but income has reduced or stopped completely. Hence we want to request to work on the reduction of tuition fees which many schools have done. Hope our request is taken into consideration.

The School fees needs to be reduced for term3. It is unethically to take the full fees when kids are not going to school and all facilities are not availed. Moreover it is the parents who are using 5 hours of their time to teach a child

I support reducing the fees, provided that the salaries of teachers and other employees are not reduced. Reducing teachers ’salaries may have a negative impact on the effort that teachers will make in this circumstance.

Teachers are giving very limited time you the kids, sending several document to parents to teach the kids. Demanding full payment is unjustifiable.
