GEMS EDUCATION FEE REDUCTION

Request for reduction of school fees. Parents have to invest more money for New laptops and Good fast internet connections. These are added expenses.

Hi we are requesting for a reduction or some on consideration on the tuition for my three child.

This is a fair request. I pray that GEMS management doesn’t resort to terminating jobs to recover the fee reduction

Its very difficult for both the parents with two kids. We are working from home at the same time have to be with kids online for there studies. I have 2 kids and I need to purchase another laptop for my other kid. It's more work for the parents. We have to work from home and same time be with our kids on e learning. It's not correct for us to pay soo much school fees for more work for the parents.

The very nature of a partnership is dependent on a commitment from both sides (Schools and Parents) to ensure a fair and balanced approach, and yet the proposal shared by GEMS in handling the tuition fee for T3 does none of this, instead relying on an outdated and far from all-encompassing approach to somehow identify people in need. Compromise means sacrifices on both sides. As we are doing our best to facilitate the lessons, while working from home, it is only fair that GEMS should extend a discounted tuition fee for Term 3.

I agree.

At this situation of the world where everything is becoming difficult, expensive, pay cuts and we are siting with our children to teach them and cope up with the pressure. The rebate should be given as all the responsibility is on the parents.

Please help to reduce the school fees considering the Outbreak for COVID-19

As stated in petition, we are requesting Gems Education to reconsider the fees amount and have it reduced.

I have 2 sons and I have lost job.

I have two children..Naya Sawan and Jude Sawan

We believe that this should be justified as we are not fully utilizing the school facilities which are part of the fees that we are paying.

I feel the pain of all parents as this is taking too much from us all, time, drains our brain, exhausted at the end of the day and overwhelmed too. I have three kids all in school, if I want them to do it right I will have to be with them all, and this is not healthy to for me. Teachers are not completely doing the full Job, leaving parents to do the rest of their duty.

We humbly request the management to reduce fee as we are not using school infrastructure. Parents worknload has been double as making 3 kids study from 8 to 2...then house work and again make the.kids study and complete the work assigned. Its really tough so atleast the reduction in fee will b a little relief.

I'd like to firstly thank Gems Metropole for their efforts to make the e-learning as structured and engaging as possible, given the limited time they had to prepare it. I speak as a parent of a 14-year old and I speak solely for our family, of course. I do believe that a reduction is due, however, as we believe in the community of our school and that we are all working together. So, while costs are being saved by the school whilst the facility is closed, it would be very helpful to the parents if those savings could be passed on to parents, the majority of which are struggling with salary discounts or loss of jobs, along with the efforts they are having to put to support their children, especially younger ones, at home with e-learning. I also feel very strongly that these deductions should not come from the salaries of the teachers as they are all working with the management to produce and deliver content online. It would be very heart-warming to see us all emerge stronger together through this epidemic, rather than divided.

Please reduce the fees we all are in trouble

My husband has suffered a salary cut and a discount of fees for our 3 kids at DAA is really needed at this time
