My Company is in Loss already and Laid of 120 Persons out of 200 in last 2 months. They are reducing the the remaining employees in the company. Apart from all these my Wife also got her salary reduction of 50% in her company .Would request to consider the fees reduction to survive in this situation.

Hopefully School management could make arrangements to reduce the cost of total area running costs to some limited area running at this duration for online school activities. Hence, the such wisely managing advantage can share with parents if possible.

The school is doing good but you have to reduce the fees for the third term we already paid for books that we will not take it and school in this term will not pay for stationary, water, electricity and maintenance so you have to give us discount.

I request for a reduction of 50% fee as my child is not using any facility - pool, library, play ground, No ASA, No teacher to attend to child during class hour, No cultural activities, shows, events, No stage for kids to perform, Above all no social interaction that leads to character formation, no friends, It is a very depressing state kids are in and the school asking to pay 15+15=30K for this for my 2 kids????

50% or more discount of 3rd semester fee (or credit to next enrollment in case of prepayment) must be given. GEMS is not an Non Profit Organization it's a Commercial Venture where margin have been extremely high. Last year GEMS earned circa DH.1.2 bln on annual profit through these fee. Parents pay for the services which school provide and in current situation school is simply not able to provide services as promised or provided in the past and hence have no right to charge the same price. For last 10 years, GEMS exploited every opportunity to raise this school fee every year till KHDA intervened. So if GEMS didnt hesitated to raise the school fee (and we pay considering good services) then they shouldn't be reluctant to refund when they are not able to provide the same level of services. It's the same commercial logic which drive GEMS business. If GEMS was a non-profit organisation, I would have a different recommendation. But GEMS being a profit driven commercial organisation which has charged top dollar for its services throughout all these years, must refund atleast 50% fee of 3rd semester. KHDA should take action and must provide clear guidance on this considering GEMS profit history and stromg commercial business culture.

There should be consideration for all parents in this challenging time. An equilibrium can be established.

Can't be seriously paying full pay for full tuition when we have reduced income, and parents are doing 99% of the work for this term.
