The geese of Windsor are a great source of joy. They are part of the city's beauty. Unfortunately, these magnificient birds lack a steady source of clean water around many areas of the city, such as on the University of Windsor's campus. Particularly on dry or hot days, they become very dehydrated. For example, When I poured water from my water bottle, the geese gathered around to lick a few mililitres of water from the sidewalk.

No animal deserves to be thirsty; all animals need water. If an animal is thirsty, the right thing to do is to give them water. The right thing to do is to give these geese steady sources of clean water.

This petition is adressed to the City Council of Windsor. The goal is to build a water basins near places such as the University of Windsor campus that give wildlife a reliable source of fresh, clean water.
