Grove City took our beautiful Cob Salad off the meal-plan options at Chick-Fil-A thus sentencing it's many hungry students to feast upon the heavily processed and unhealthy options, options many do not feel comfortable consuming. The Cob was the staple of reason, and removing it shows Grove's failed commitment to it's student body.
I have been reading through the stories you all are sharing about why this meal matters and it is clear that I am not the only one who feels this way. Your experiences are the real heart of this effort and they remind me that we are looking for a simple return to a fair and healthy option. I am currently reaching out to the dining staff to share your thoughts and I will let you know as soon as I hear anything back.

I truly never imagined that so many of you would care this much about a salad. It is humbling to see that this simple request resonated with so many people who feel exactly the same way I do. This momentum belongs entirely to you.

I (in part) enrolled at grove city for easy access to the cob. Disappointment is an understatement

The Cobb salad is the only item on the Grove City College CFA meal plan that is capable of filling up your average male college student.

I understand that the Cobb is much more expensive than the other meal options, but thankfully there are ways to work around this. To Parkhurst: please consider providing the Cobb salad as a stand-alone option, without a side and drink. This would make the cost roughly equivalent to the cost of entire meal and allow health-conscious students or students with allergies to still eat at Chick-fil-A.

The meal swipe costs the same amount as a cfa cobb salad! Since opening here, cfa has made so much money. I dont understand why they had to take away the cobb salad (the best salad on campus)!!

People such as myself who have meat allergies and are therefore vegetarian not by choice, now have no chick-fil-a options.
