This petition is being circulated by Glace Bay Elementary Home & School Association in conjunction with concerned parents, and community members. In September of this coming school year, it is the intention of the Cape Breton Victoria Regional School Board to house their Adult Education Program at the former Glace Bay Elementary Portables Building.
The Home and School Association certainly supports Adult Education, but has some concerns about the Program being "housed " in such close proximity to Glace Bay Elementary School. The Association and concerned citizens would like to see the Adult Education Program moved to an alternate location where the opportunity for interaction would not occur.
