My friend Myra R. Was actively and voluntarily attending outpatient therapy, There was another member of this Therapy Group who falsely reported that Myra was going to commit suicide. Based on this lie she was taken out from group forcefully by the Paramedics and threatened to be taken by the Sheriff if she didn't go with them. This hospital happens to be Heritage Oaks in Sacramento which runs the outpatient therapy group. When Myra requested an outside Psychiatrist, she was denied this request. She has also had her anxiety medication withheld, and used as a ruse to extend her stay and placing her on a 5250. She is the only openly GAY Military member of the group and we feel she was directly targeted because of her sexuality. Please help us get justice for Myra by signing this petition!!
