I'm a regular blood donor so I know how short of blood donors we are in this country. We dont ban straight men who sleep with 7 different women a week from donating so why do we stop gay men from donating?

As a long term blood donor, I am aware of the rigorous screening that every donation undergoes prior to it being used. Therefore, why continue with this outdated ban on gay men not being able to donate their blood?
