Several other states, (one of which is Tennessee), have adopted provisions for out of state health care workers to cross state lines and provide free visual, dental and medical services for the poor. One of potentially many groups, Remote Area Medical (www.ramusa.org) is willing to come to GA & provide free services if our state can adopt the necessary legislation. Immediately following the November election, I plan to send this petition to each of our state representatives. If you, as a Georgia resident are willing to sign this, I would sincerely appreciate it.
