No kids or animals should be in this environment. Us adults are able to consent and make a choice to be present. Children and animals are not able to make that same responsible request!

As a parent and someone who is 100% clean and sober and also a juggalo, kids don't belong at the gathering. Some parents make poor choices and bring them anyways where they may be exposed to adult content. Parents with substance abuse issues often use while their children are unsupervised and we don't want children getting hurt or sick or worse as a result of that. Make the gathering 18+ only!

Children are dying and walking around naked at this festival. This makes them such a target for disaster and don’t need to be at an adult festival.

While I believe that there are exceptions to this rule based on village set up and parents themselves I would definitely love to not see anyone under 15 there

As a mother this is absolutely not the place for kids. Lots of stuff that can happen no matter how careful you are. Drugs, fireworks, the heat are just a few things. It only takes one second for them to find a pill on the ground and pop it in their mouth and you have no clue what it was. If you can’t get a babysitter unfortunately you don’t get to go!

There isn’t many more places you shouldn’t bring your kids than the Gathering. However, there are artists or performers and others who may bring and care properly for the children and don’t expose them to things. Even Juggalo parents may be responsible too. How do we make this only for the “bad” parents?
