Davenport Village- Gateway Revitalization

Dear Gateway Revitalization Partners,

I am a resident of Davenport Village Community and I would like to advise you that I am in full support of Councillor Cesar Palacio's plan to advance our shared vision to improve the gateway to our community.

It has taken more than 20 years of hard work, vision and leadership to transform this community, but all my neighbours agree that the effort has been well worthwhile. Davenport Village is now one of the shinning jewels in the west end of the City.

The transformation of our community is well underway with the addition of new green space and park amenities, what we ask from you now is to help us complete our mission by coming to the table and putting your support and resources behind our cause.

I strongly urge you to help us realize our dream of transforming the derelict Hydro-One corridor on the south side of Davenport Road bordered by Caledonia Park Road on the west and Lansdowne Avenue on the east, into a beautiful public space and gateway to our community.

I want to know that tomorrow’s generation will benefit from your wise decision of today.

Please provide us with the tools that we need to complete the transformation of our community.
