To The Gates County Board Of Commissioners: We the undersigned, citizens of Gates County, North Carolina object to the 2009 Assessed Tax Values, that have been applied to our property. We feel it is extremely over priced and not realistic in today's economy. It will cause us as taxpayers, to suffer severe financial hardships, that some will not recover from. Some may even lose their homes and property, because the tax is extremely excessive. We request the immediate reversal or reduction of this tax increase. As the taxpaying citizens, of Gates County, we also request the immediate termination, of our Tax Assessor, Renee McGinnis from her position, as Gates Countyâ
