I am writing to express my support, as required under Standing Order 17 of the Board's constitution, for the following resolution (proposed by Gary Mond and seconded by Tal Ofer) to be tabled at the next meeting of the Board:

“Having regard to the unfortunate examples in recent years of working with Oxfam and the Muslim Council of Great Britain, and also the decision of the Defence and Group Relations division taken on 8 March 2016 to work with Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, this Board of Deputies resolves only to work on projects with organisations which accept the right of the state of Israel to exist as the nation state of the Jewish people, and which do not advocate boycotts of Israel or Israeli products.”
