PETITION OF SUPPORT FOR GARRETT FOSTER

To the Honorable Judge,

We, the undersigned members of the recovery community, respectfully submit this petition in support of Garrett Foster.

The charge before the Court reflects a period from Garrett’s past and does not represent the man he has become. Over the past several months, Garrett has shown extraordinary dedication to his sobriety and his recovery. He has actively participated in Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and DAA; contributed his time and talents to our community; and used music in our recovery band to encourage and uplift others.

We have witnessed his consistent commitment to positive change and his influence in strengthening those around him. Garrett’s continued access to his support network, meetings, and service to the community is vital to his ongoing success. Incarceration at this stage would disrupt his progress and remove an important source of stability and inspiration from our fellowship.

We respectfully ask the Court to consider Garrett’s proven record of sobriety, his service to others, and the strong support system that surrounds him.
