The undersigned parties agree that is it a voluntary decision to participate and that the views and opinions expressed in this message are in accordance with their own. The signatories are enrolled in the first year of the Game Programming program at Humber College’s School of Media Studies and Information Technology, blocks A and B. This letter is in regards to the instructor of Game Programming 1 (GAME 101), Hamoun Ghanbari.
We believe Mr. Ghanbari has performed unsatisfactorily as the instructor of this course. He has consistently arrived unprepared for lessons, has not adequately covered material, has not covered topics in a timely fashion, and has not regularly provided resources relevant to topics, including suggested textbook readings. We believe that because of these shortcomings, our learning experience has been negatively affected, and if not remedied, this will come to affect our success in this program and our work in the field of Game Development, as well as the reputation of the Game Programming program at Humber College.
Our hope is that through this letter, we have been able to voice our grievances, and begin a dialogue that will allow us to work with the faculty of the School of Media Studies and Information Technology in order to remedy this issue.
