Lincolnshire is woefully lacking decent transport links, and any plan to increase train frequency will have benefits across the whole region.

This is an under utilised resource and I fully support the action plan.

A stronger rail link would not only benefit Gainsborough, but the wider community also. Better lincs to Lincoln, Doncaster, Sheffield and the East Coast would be essential to a town that is rapidly expanding and that already suffers from an inadequate transport infrastructure.

Happy to support as it would benefite the whole area, as well as Gainsborough.

There are many smaller towns and villages with thriving rail stations so why not Gainsborough.

I was born in Gainsborough and have seen changes made which have not been to the good of the town. Saturday trains allow my brother to come to town from Grimsby but if he stays over night he has a long train journey via Lincoln or Doncaster back to his home.

Well thought out and reasonable train service alterations benefitting the town without causing major disruption to current timetabling.

What a wasted resource, a railway station so unusually close to the commercial and trading district of the town. Those responsible for transport planning have certianly missed a trick or two here.

Central Station is the station 90% of residents in Gainsborough wish to use.
