Jimmy brought flavor to 2 Fast 2 Furious. Not only did we see a presentation of Asian ethnicity but a character with an auto mechanic genius. He can also bring flavor and also a story that can be incorporated into Furious 8. I could've easily imagined Jimmy in both Furious 6 and 7. Characters will come and go between Furious films but the power of bringing back Jimmy can only heighten the film and brand because he is a relatable character. I believe Jin's popularity at the time 2 Fast 2 Furious was smaller in comparison to what it is today. Jin is now a world renowned figure. Not only does he bring in his domestic fans but also his ever growing international fan base to the franchise. Why bring him back you say? Jin's performance in 2 Fast 2 Furious was needed and the man pulled it off amazingly and with that, multiple movies and roles under his belt going forth. Bring that character back but most importantly bring the man back. He's seasoned and he's ready to go!
