Stop underfunding our children. Give them the education they deserve. Closing the high schools is probably the worst idea I've ever heard. Erie has one of the best schools in the state and country. Fix this NOW with fairfunding!

I went to Erie school thru part of 6th grade in the 1950's/60's before we moved out of Erie. I feel sad Irving School is closed where I went. I am sad about how bad Erie has become since my younger days.

Equality for school funding is demanded! Our students are just as important as everyone other! They aren't able to choose where they live! They shouldn't be punished for it. As a teacher, I shouldn't be punished for where I choose to work! I chose you, Governor Wolf, to support and work for schools. What have you done for us in the Erie District?

I pulled my children out of the Erie Catholic Diocese Schools to attend the Erie Public Schools. Not only did my children receive a better education , but their schools prepared them for life. We even opted to pay tuition my daughter's senior year after we moved out of the district , rather than have her attend our local public school.

Just like we tell our kids in school, "if you don't do the work, you don't get a passing grade!" Legislators, you need to stop the rhetoric and do the job we elected you to do! Don't fail the job! Elections are coming!!
