It makes no logical sense to close the schools three days a week and have them open for two days a week. Just open the schools it’s an essential service. The teachers union is just doing this for political purposes.

do whats best for the children and their families. Do not force families to lose their homes and isolating the children after the fiasco last with internet school was a disaster. We will lose more children to suicide than the virus if we don't open schools full time. Follow science for heavens sake. Please its about the students not your own interests. No full time school im demanding my taxes property and income back if you aren't doing your job we can and will replace you. Stop using our children for your pklitical garbage.STOP IT!!!!

The kids (and parents) need school to happen in person. We need to learn to deal with this virus using the best practices outlined by the CDC. We should not let fear prevail. Let’s mitigate the risks as best we can but allow our education the priority it needs to keep our kids learning and social and our teachers safe and able to teach in the best ways they know how...on-site and with the kids!

If teachers are afraid if this virus, let them stay home & collect unemployment & get real teachers or substitutes to come teach. Not opening school up like normal is ridiculous. Kids need the everyday social aspect of school just as much as the education part. Also, some kids DO NOT learn with online schooling & need to be in a classroom. Let parents decide if they need to keep their kids home if they are worried...but school should resume!!!

I understand the pressure from some teachers and threats of strikes from the union, but these decisions must be about what is best for students. No matter how many students are in a room, isn't the 'threat of exposure' much the same? If strikes occur, I'll gladly substitute!

Our entire mental health is at stake. Kids don’t die from this!!! They need to be in school full time. One of my children and myself had to get on medication to cope. Don’t do this to our families.

Last spring my high school and Jr high kids did NOT do well! They craved being with their friends, they needed being with their teachers. As a working parent I wasnt able to be with them to keep them on task and they steadily fell behind despite all my efforts. My kids WANT and NEED to be in school. This option is NOT our desired choice in any way!

FAPE! The school has a Legal requirement to provide a free accessible public education to all students. Education is not accessible to students who do not have a parent at home who can walk them through their studies. And it is not accessible to students who do not have Internet.
