My children REALLY struggled with me as their teacher in the Spring. There’s a reason I didn’t go to school to be an educator. I’m not good at it. I feel my kids NEED their teachers to teach them. This can be done with correct social distancing.

We would like to see school 5 days a week. We feel strongly that kids are suffering academically, mentally, socially, etc. with the current schedule. Please reconsider full time school.

The best available evidence says that Covid19 poses relatively low risks to school-aged children. This week several news programs have said there has NOT been even 1 case {worldwide} of a student passing Covid19 to their teacher! Please reconsider this new plan for all involved!
Schools had great plans and great attitudes about getting kids back. Kids and families were excited! Several Utah Counties are fully going back in person 5 days a week - look at the awesome plan in the Alpine School District! Please, let's use logic, reason, & science and get our kids back in school fulltime!!

The importance of in-person learning is well-documented, and there is already evidence of the negative impacts on children because of school closures in the spring of 2020.”

The positives of school FAR outweigh the negatives. This decision should not have been made without any input or consideration from the parents of the children it so massively effects. This must be rectified. The state has said schools should be in session, Davis County is in good shape. Please please please stop bending to fear and/or politics and FIX this immediately!!

Honestly! People die in car accidents every day!! We are still driving cars, as much as, or more than ever before. We love teachers and students but the reality is that there are many ways for people to die. The numbers don't support the sacrifice being made here. The death rate is not higher than other normal everyday risks we take every day. People die of many different things out of our control and we have accepted it. Covid-19 is out of our control!!! The treatments for this virus are working! We should not be this crazy worried!!! We are ruining lives much faster by taking away human needs than Covid-19 would on it's own. People need other people!!! We need physical contact and interaction. We need to be building relationships, making new friends, and serving others. These things improve our attitude and build our immune system. Stress depletes your immune system. Not being exposed to germs weakens your immune system. We should NOT be afraid of each other! We should not fear helping others. Fear comes from Satan. Love, peace, and hope come from God.

This 2 days week is NOT okay. All 3 of my daughters broken sobbing. They need school
They need to ne taught by teachers that know how to teach them not me. I am a single Mom working my butt off to make ends meet. This has added so much stress to my already declining mental state which in turn effects my kids. PLEASE I'm begging you can we please get back ro 5 days a week.
