I love in Cedar Rapids Iowa and when I was younger we used to have an area to use between Ely and Solon Iowa but Motorcycle and Quad riders convinced the county board to prohibit full size vehicles so now we have no offroad park to go to within a 2.5+ hour drive.

Cant happen soon enough, a full size ohv would be a great place to set up meetings and other community type activities, as well as give folks a good place to wheel without tearing up an "illegal" spot.

It would be a great addition to the outdoor sports in our state. A safe place to take our trucks in a legal manner

It would not be hard for Iowa to create a full-size vehicle offroad park. Simply open the existing OHV parks to trucks and Jeeps. I have made multiple out-of-state trips to off-road when I could be spending money in Iowa and supporting the economy.

An off-road park is a win-win for everyone. It generates revenue for the owners (city), it creates jobs for all the merchants that market and service off-road vehicles, and it provides a place for off-road enthusiasts to go, reducing the 'temptation' to go places not approved. Depending on how nice the park is, it will pull in visitors (revenue, etc) from surrounding states, which is great for the local hotels, restaurants, gas stations, merchants, repair shops, etc. An off-road park has many up-sides, and no down-sides that I'm aware of.
Very much so. This should be supported!
Long overdue!!!
