Yes, I am astounded that Calgary doesn't have the facilities for all the sports that citizens LOVE. The field house is JUST one out of three things that require NEW MODERN and SAFE facilities. For the mental, spiritual and physical health of all Calgarians! You'd get my vote!

We are a winter city as the mayor says and rightfully correct. Training is a year round event and it would be the most used facility.

We desperately need a field house, we need to be part of the solution of how to get one, I of course, wanted this to be part of the Olympic plan - but sadly that's not the case, hopefully this will still happen.....

Sports centers are critical in developing a sense of community, especially in Calgary. This would be a much needed addition to the active living proponent of Calgary!

Sports in general have become extremely popular in my liftime. Ive spent my whole in and around football fields at all levels and know how calgary has become a football mecca. The possibilities are endless when it comes to hosting camps tournaments and cfl games. Not to mention having a indoor soccer pitch in which would flourish as yoi can hardley rent a field around the city as theyre always booked for soccer.

As a competitive ball hockey player I can attest to how badly Calgary needs a facility like this! Tournaments are always held in Edmonton because they have facilities and we don't. How was is it that Edmonton not only has a better arena and concert venue than we do but better spring facilities too?
