This would be a great benefit to kids, both who want to run and from other sports who want to improve their fittness. Giving people, especially kids, a place to compete can motivante them to take up a sport that can last a lifetime.

Yes, Alberta needs another large public Indoor area to hold various Sporting Activities! I would like to add that as a Field events thrower, the new Field House needs to incorporate Areas where Indoor Field Events such as Shot Put, Weight Throw, Javelin, Discus and Hammer would be able to practice and compete. The University of Lethbridge has a wonderful indoor Throwing area which could show the possibilities this to come to fruition!

I'm headed to Saint John NB for Cnd indoor championships in March. Sad that they have a brand new field house and Calgary does not. Something is wrong with that situation.
