He is incredibly agitated and not fit to be a teacher. He publicly humiliates students and makes students cry for their poor grades. He often brings up his depressing personal life in class, which he should not be doing. He is hypersensitive of cheating and is very paranoid of academic dishonesty.

Bad teacher, for 3D printing class, I printed my object at home and he took off 100 points out of 500 immediately, assuming I must have bought it from somewhere and I don't trust any of his students. He didn't even tell us we were not allowed to print at home and even encouraged it.

my friends + everyone i know who has him as their teacher lament every day.
he's really mean and will yell and berate students unreasonably.
in addition, he will give instructions, then change his mind and take off points for following his instructions.
he also targets specific people and is extra mean to them.
basically he just sucks

if you are a freshman planning to drop double accel, this guy is your motivation to stay and grind. you will KILL YOURSELF in soph year if you get him.

I would personally like to share my effing awful experience with this class. I had Mr. Saldana for Algebra 2 last year, and let me tell you how GARBAGE he is at math and teaching. You literally cannot comprehend what he is even teaching, and getting an A is luck based, since he does not even grade accurately; he grades purely based on whether or not he likes you. I completely agree with the statement that he refuses to look at tests. I keenly remember during the unit 2 test, he marked me off despite getting all the steps and the answer correct, as my "2" looked like a "Z". The question literally did not have the variable Z in it, and I did not use it. I wrote all my work and I got a single integer after simplification, and I will not ever forget when he told me to "get lost and stop arguing with me before I give you a 0". Get him fired at ANY COST!

I took Mr. Saldana's Algebra 2 course a few years ago, and in all honesty, it was horrible. He does NOT know how to teach, he is extremely biased towards and against some students, where he will literally yell at the top of his lungs at some students over nothing. He grades tests horribly, where he will mark complete bs answers correct and will mark actually accurate answers wrong. I am so greatful that I never had him again, and I am truly sorry for anyone that has him this year or will have him.
