I think that we can all agree that calling a fruit or vegetable's insides "flesh" is strange and needs to be abolished. I have taken it upon myself to start a movement to create new words for these parts when dealing with fruits and vegetables. These words will be separate, but equal from their human and animal counterparts. In addition to "flesh", "skin" will also have its own counter-word associated with our more... inanimate cousins.
