I am so so sorry Suzanne, It is very unfair indeed, my mother is in similar stage as your husband and I feel like our power have been taken away from us. This is why I am doing this. Care aides cannot give them what we do, that is key here in my advocacy. Please share this petition and lets hope I can get my goal for all of us!

I have contacted as well the Minister of Seniors in Quebec, who have already passed a bill called "Humanitarian Gesture' that allows seniors in LTCH to go outside and have family visit them. But, nothing yet...

It is indeed and us families are suffering for them , because we know that care aides are great, but they do the basic. The rest of the day they are alone

My husband is in late stage dementia. He is confined to wheelchair, can’t see, or talk or speak but mind is still functioning. He needs companionship! He needs love. PSW’s don’t have enough time to talk or wheel him around. Please! I’ll take all tests!
