In celebrating the American University Latinx graduating class of 2017, the banquet committee would greatly appreciate if you could sign the petition fot the very first American University Latinx Graduation Banquet. The Latinx community comprises 10.5% of enrollment at American University and collaborates to bring cultural and service-oriented organizations such as LULAC, Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc., Caribbean Circle, and the AU Latino Alumni Alliance, which are all co-sponsors of the banquet. The celebration serves to provide an opportunity for the 2017 Latinx graduating class to network with potential employers as well as recognize students who have greatly serviced the community and have made excellent academic accomplishments.
