I had Professor Popper for Torts class as a 1L, and again for Administrative Law and for an independent study project when I returned to WCL as an LL.M. student. I personally can't think of a better person to lead WCL.
Professor Popper cares deeply about his students and about WCL as an institution. At the beginning of each class, he opens the floor to questions-not just about the day's reading or the subject matter, but also about any goings-on at the school, and if he can, he answers the question. His forthrightness, his honesty, his integrity, and his connectedness to WCL's students are all qualities that would serve WCL in good stead.
I fervently hope that the selection committee chooses Professor Popper to be WCL's next Dean.
