The park must be capable of providing continued access to those that reside in the community. If they are made to pay exorbitant taxes and fees to continue to reside there,then at the very least the park should reflect what their funds areally doing for the community

Wingate Park has been a cultural bedrock of our community, in addition to providing recreational respite for generations. Of course we would like it to be upgrade and maintained so that it may continue its legacy of sociocultural refuge and education.

Renovating Wingate park is incredibly important for the community. The programs that serves the community that Wingate Park has created, help young African Americans get jobs in the construction industry, become a responsible contributing members of the community, and so much more.
