Regarding application CU-15-07 we are apposed of the approval of said application.
Installing a helipad directly on Mason Creek would negatively impact the wildlife and the serenity of the area . The proposed site is 4/10ths of a mile away from the birding trails, kayak launch , and observation tower of the Chassahowitzka salt marsh wildlife sanctuary.
The proposed helipad is not compatible with the nearby wildlife sanctuary. Many animals respond minimally to aerial objects as if the objects were predators — and run, crouch or hide in their presence - and many can be killed by the helicopter's own rotating blades.

Rural or Old Fl don't go with helicopter. Are our county employees trained to be yes people? It is definitely not compatible with existing land use rules now. Think people, think

Having a helicopter land and take off in this area is so despicable. I live in Pine Ridge and would be horrified to have that happen here. This man is a rich SOB and must not do this and be considerate. Move to the city and leave us be.
