President Wayne A. I. Frederick, MD, MBA, FACS has my FULL support and complete confidence.
No HBCU can boast of having a more committed and supremely intellectually prepared leader than Howard University. No educational institution in America has a President more emblematic of the essence of its mission than Howard University.
The motivations which are driving the conversation we are embarking upon are small, the rationale of the hand full of faculty who chose to initiate it is even smaller, and the thought processes of these few which should focus on what is best for both a grand and hisotrical institition of higher education are the smallest! And for these reasons while I am called to love these few, I cannot wish them well.
