As an active, financially contributing alumna of Howard University's Class of 1969, I proudly and publicly affirm my confidence in Dr. Wayne. A.I. Frederick's ability to lead Howard University during these challenging times. I am inspired by his love for and dedication to alma mater, his vision of Howard's future role in local, national and global communities, his commitment to student development and growth, and particularly his efforts to ease the financial burdens of prospective graduating seniors through unceasing mobilization of funds from alumni and friends to support those students in bridging the financial gap. I stand firmly with President Frederick and support his current and future leadership of Howard University.

Dr. Frederick is a powerhouse of knowledge, experience, and expertise. He makes the hard decisions, operates on logic rather than emotion, and has the well-being of Howard University as the base of it all. He is ensuring that Howard University will continue to be a force with which to be reckoned . There is no place for complacency in this highly competitive world in which we live. He has my full support!!!!

I fully support President Frederick. I am an active alumna who closely follows the activities of alma mater and I am well pleased with President Frederick! I have never seen a more transparent university president. He has always been available to the alumni. In fact, he traveled across the country extensively last year to meet with alumni and would not leave a room until each an every question was answered! His yearly State of the University address is always informative.
His passion and love for Howard is evident and contagious! Membership in alumni groups have risen due to his leadership and the alumni giving rate has more than doubled since he became president! I can not understand what the faculty is complaining about and why they felt the need to go this far! I am very concerned about the process used to take this vote of no confidence. I need to see some facts Faculty Council -and not in the form of an anonymous letter!
