Closing an airport is the most IGNORANT thing... people who use small airports do so to avoid the crowds at larger airports and to be able to get to destinations without being herded like cattle on a giant tube full of potentially sick people

Please do not close the airport

This airport serves a vital economic role. Closure will jeopardize healthcare access as well as limit business revenues.

Please reopen the airport.

Please reopen this critical element of transportation infrastructure in Colorado.

There is no reason to close any airport due to Covid-19, let alone Glenwood Springs.

Please leave the airport alone as people love flying into these small airports as they are more cost effective than the bigger ones. People need to learn to build elsewhere.

Please open the airport to flight operations. There are many airports that are open with social distancing guidelines in place.

The Glenwood Springs Airport is a huge part of our community. Please reopen it.

Losing the airport in Grand Junction cuts off an important method of travel to/from the city. It would be similar to cutting off the railway station because "it's too loud". Aviation puts money in the pocket of the local businesses.

This closure is an obvious attempt to close the airport.

Please reopen the airport because we need it. This is one of the only places for refueling and maintaining pilot proficiency is imperative to aviation safety.

The closure of the Glenwood Springs Airport is highly unnecessary. Especially as parts of the state are slowly reopening the GWS airport should be able to resume normal operations. This plays a critical part in out aviation community here in GWS as well as serves the surrounding area. With proper social distancing and taking the appropriate precautions to avoid the spread of Covid 19 there is no reason the GWS shouldn’t be reopened to continue serving the community.

There will be serious repercussions with your community if this airport is shut down, airplanes have to fly, pilots need to train to stay proficient. You may not realize it, but even small airports like this bring jobs and revenue to your city. Do not close this airport down.

Please don’t destroy this national treasure!!
