The airport is a Colorado treasure and resource. I first flew in there during my Mountain Flying training from KAPA. Please keep this airport open!

This is an absurd abuse of power, as well as use of an unfortunate pandemic to push a bad political agenda. If this pandemic has done nothing else, it has hopefully opened the eyes of the American people to the corruption and self gain that is our government. This occurs at every level, and must be stopped. Not seeing the important contribution of this necessary local airport is due to blind ignorance and perceived monetary gain by the local government. These so called “leaders” should be terminated immediately.

I am commercial pilot. Safe places in the mountains are hard to find in an emergency.
