I live in NE by Silver Lake. A snow plow driver asked my next door neighbor to "Please stop parking on the west side of the street b/c it makes plowing very challenging." "Talk to the city council," Neighbor replied. We got tickets in my neighborhood when another neighbor called and complained. In November.

I fully support common sense changes to the ordinance. As a city with so many visitors who are already facing great challenges, it only makes sense to be more hospitable.

Restrictions are far more overbearing than necessary. Almost seem like they are in place to punish car owners at times. They are unfair and make little sense most of the time.
