If training is available, why not train the officers as mail carriers are trained?

Our pitbull is one of too many who have been unjustly shot by a police officer. This type of behavior needs to stop, it is completely unacceptable.

Police officers need to be trained not to kill animals in their own homes and yards, on the street if they have gotten loose. They need to use common sense and have compassion. Pets are family members. Killing people's pets and not being held accountable is WRONG

Please take this seriously...they are our family. I know there are plenty of good hearted patient dog loving police out there who advocate for animals. I hope someone listens to them. Thank you
