After reading all information provided it seems like Shanker Patel has been wrongfully convicted of a horrible crime ...
Mr . Governor please look into this serious matter where an innocent men/father is serving a prison time ... for the crime he did not commit...His children needs their father since their mother is no more.....please consider his release from the prison in this bad time of COViD 19 pandemic and again due to his age as well as medical conditions, he could become a victim of the virus ... it would be very bad if that happens to him where his children could very well loose their loving father... hope you and the State of California grant him his release ..AFTER reviewing all the information provided by this petition filers ...
Finally, Mr Newsom, hope this comment reaches you and hope you will become aware of this man’s innocence and grant him the release ... God Bless USA... and people of California and pray for End of this terrible Pandemic ....

Me and my family know shanker patel very well. He is innocent and please Release him from there. He is very gentle, loving, caring guy. There is no way he would such a thing. He can not harm. Currently his health is not well. Please Release him so he can come Home. His Old mom only wishes to see her son. Pls send him Home.

Dear Governor Newsom, Please do the right thing and free an innocent man. He needs to go home now. He has been there for 7 years for a crime he did not commit. His family is waiting for him. I know you are a compassionate person and will do the right thing.

I know shanker patel for longest time. He is good father, son, and friend. He has always Helped others. He is innocent and He deserves to be with his family and grand children's. And 85 years old Mom is waiting for him to come Home. Sad that he is behind the bar even though his innocent. I feel for the Children's. God bless you.
